If you saw me as an acorn you’d never think that I would end up this big. Roots shot down deep as soon as I was planted and I knew right away that I would be strong.

Now don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy.

I lived through a very icy winter. People stepped on me. Storms threatened to take me out.

And then, for just a second, I thought they were going to cut me down before I was finished growing. “But wait, I’ll get even stronger if you’re patient!”

Whew, that was close.

Finally, I grew strong enough for the next challenge.

I would finally be strong enough to hold Sunday morning giggles under the covers, have strong drawers to hold all their favorite items, Forever Tight Bed Brackets to hold up to kids jumping, and a mattress soft enough for moments like “Breakfast in bed?”

Growing this strong wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.
